Krusevo is Ready for the Paragliding and Gliding Competitions, Summer 2018

The Municipality of Krusevo will work together with the Macedonian Youth and Sport Agency and the Aeronautical Federation of Macedonia to promote the European Gliding Championship which will start on the 8th of July and last until the 21st.

In the period to follow there will be several press conferences, TV advertisements and Facebook campaigns devoted exclusively to the European Gliding Championship.

The support from the Federation and the Agency is valuable to the local government in hosting the gliding event.

However, the Municipality of Krusevo also gets great support from the Support and Promotion of Tourism Agency of Macedonia. The agency procured an artificial grass that has been set on the paragliding site of Meckin Kamen in Krusevo. This grass should improve conditions for paragliders and gliders as well as improve the overall image of Krusevo when viewed from the perspective of paragliding.

Since May Krusevo has hosted several groups of paragliders but the national and international competitions start on the 2nd of July.
